wood turning attempt number 5

Newbie error slightly off centre by a fraction on the faceplate charged in before i realised so the edge is a bit thinner on one side.

Still a few lines on the inside i think i will try sycamore next time as this is iroko wood and i think im trying to run before walking

It is 3 inch high and 6 1/2 wide

But im still enjoying learning

from forum newbie, sycamore is a good choice very easy to work with, food friendly also I believe

Iroko is not the best of woods to turn, but you have done a good job for your fifth bowl. The tram lines will go with practice try. Keep at it and turn safe and also enjoy every moment
