Does such a thing exist? Does anyone offer this?
Reason I ask, I've got a lovely laburnum burl that right now is still wet (24%).
Once it's dry (ish- 10% or so?) I'd like to experiment with some epoxy resin to fill the voids and turn it.
However, before I use the epoxy, I'm thinking I should get the burl stabilised first. Am I correct in my thinking (there's a good chance some of it will be soft in parts I suspect)? I'm a good while away from it being dry enough for stabilisation, so I thought I'd try to find some answers in the meantime...
Does anyone offer some sort of wood stabilisation service ?
