Hi again, I'm making another Band saw box and have an unsightly, thin open joint that needs filling. See attached photo.
Question is, what fine fillers are out there, that would not stain the wood and will take a Danish oil finish?
I did try glue and fine saw dust but the crack is too small to work effectively.
Many thanks in advance.

You could try one of those wax restoration sticks that is the same shade, they do not stain but not sure how the Danish oil would take.:)

Failing a colour match, could you make a feature of it, by opening it up and add a line to match the other lines?
May be a stupid idea, but can't see rest of box to see what effect would be.
Was just a thought

You apply the finish before using the wax filler. Much easier to get a good colour match
Thanks Mark and everyone for your suggestions.

Thanks for this however that wouldn’t work in this case. 👍
