wireless problems

for some reason my laptop running vista is not picking up the virgin router anymore, trying to reset it, it just doesn't find it at all, any ideas what i can do now with it, apart from through it away..

need to figure out if the problem is with the laptop or the wireless access point/router. do you have any other wireless devices, do the work OK ? does your laptop pick up anyone else's wireless network?

Some laptops have a switch to disable wireless, make sure it hasn't been knocked.

make \ model?

look at the "F" keys
see if one of them looks like wireless symbol

then try Fn and F key

do u have a wi-fi moby that connects ?

Someone beat me to it :lol: It's a common problem, a little slide switch usually on the front, my wife knocked it regularly and then forgot why the next time it happened.
