This pine wine rack was designed to match a top half of a dresser that the client found in a skip! The brief was simple, base unit to hold as many bottles of wine as possible.

It has recently been featured in Furniture and cabinet making magazine issue 186

How did you cut the half-rounds, particularly the ones for the "fat" ends of the bottles?

I made two patterns, one for larger and one foe small. Cut all bits to length, mark on shape cut carefully on the band saw to within 2 mm of the line. Then buzzed them out on the overhead router with a lower bearing cutter. Hope that helps
