Wide drum sander question

Just wondering whether anyone has had any personal experience of using abranet in place of sandpaper on a wide belt sander and howitzer worked out.

No experience but I considered it for my drum sander build. Research online suggested that it stretches too much. Abranet hd had some potential but opinion seemed to be mixed and because I won't have extraction keeping the net clear, I didn't see the advantage for it (for my build)
