Be aware you will need to spend out for a selection of blades. I spend £4 (yes, £4) for a second hand Bosch model which was originally priced at £99 in the Axminster catalogue, although it is a fairly old model now. Then I spent over £20 on packs of blades. Handy tool on occasions.

I have the Erbauer ERB373RSP from Screwfix which is currently at £49.99. Which also includes a selection of blades.

Only needed it for occasional use so it was an easy choice, with tool-free blade changing and a carry case, bargain!

It's nice to use too, not too big but is really powerful.

£30 Lidl on Thursday could work for you.

I bought one around 2 years ago and have abused it beyond all reason. It's still going strong.
I get blades from Amazon can't remember the brand, they work fine for the price

As I have been cutting out tree stumps and hitting stones etc a decent quality one would expire just as quick.

+1 for Lidl. Used for getting out tree roots with green wood blade and used today to cut some notches in studding today (cutting into a plumbing fitting but that's another story). Also use it to dismantle pallets with screwfix pallet blades. great tool. Must have had it at least 5-6 years.
