I am wanting to tweak my tenon joints a little. I have found that i could do with a plane but not sure which one to go for. I dont want to be spending too much as this is all i will be using it for , when the tenon is just a little too tight.
Any suggestions please?

Hi Tiler
You need a plane in which the blade goes all the way to the edge of the body to allow you to trim right into a corner. This is usually called a shoulder or rebate plane.
You can find various 2nd hand ones on Ebay-look out for planes like Stanley #92 or #93.
Axminster stock some new Stanleys-here's the link.
There are other possibilities but the price goes higher and higher
A keenly priced Stanley will be just what you need.
Hope this helps
Philly :D

Tenons can also be very easily adjusted with a router on the bench (use a dovetail cutter to get right up to the shoulder) or if you have a router table its even easier by holding the wood against the mitre fence and just skimming the tenon - Rob

I got myself a Stanley 92 a while back and I've found it to be pretty handy. I'm sure you'll find it to be a useful investment.
