I have stuck the material from a bin bag to MDF with Copydex.

I was making planting boxes and wanted to create a moisture resistant surface. Now I just use Gaffer tape. :roll:

The acetate is 190 microns thick (about the thickness of veneer), I'm making a robot lamp for my grandson, the acetate will cover the holes and slots I have cut in the body, my SIL is an electrician so he will be fitting an LED strip inside so there will be no heat given off, I have left the MDF unprimed on the inside where the acetate will be glued, I don't think PVA will work, I was thinking of using superglue but I'm unsure if this will adhere to MDF.
