Which adhesive for edging trim in a ships galley

Hi,

I am building a kitchen using lightweight poplar ply for the galley on board a small boat. I am wanting to edge the plywood board with a matching trim and wondered what the best type of adhesive would be? The adhesive needs to be suitable for use in the following conditions;

• Changes in humidity

• Changes in temperature

• Suitable if in contact with water spills etc

I usually fit edging with "Titebond 2" its only good for internal use but is proof against all the things on your list. The attached shows the edging material section I prefer, it gives a built in fiddle rail and covers the board completely, no need to even plane the edge of the boarding before fitting it.

I would use either moisture resistant PVA or one of the foaming polyurethanes.

If it were me I would go belt and braces approach. PU, Cascamite or West system west resin. Also would use exterior grade ply but I guess if you know it's not going to get properly wet you will be OK with poplar ply and water resistant glue.
