Where to buy wood panels

Hello all.

I am a complete novice when it comes to woodworking/crafting. However, the adventure of moving into a new home has promoted me into wanting to get creative.

As my first (tiny) project I would simply like to get hold of a sheet of wood (cherry wood hopefully) where I can router it and put coat hooks on. The thing is, I can't see where I can buy decent sheets of wood. All I can seem to find is either rough or plained timber. Good for making frames and construction but not what I want or need. Does anyone know where I can get what I need?

A quick internet search under "cherry hardwood panels will bring up at least one (Winwood Products, Newport South Wales). Hope this gets you what you want.

But those are not solid panels. OK..might be acceptable to the OP but possibly not.

MSZ..if you want solid cherry panels then I suspect you are going to be out of luck unless you make them up yourself.

I've not used this company myself so can't vouch for them but they look promising. and they have a good range of panels in different timbers.
