What regulation cover selling plans?

Bit of a random question but here goes.

I have a product that I have designed that I was looking to sell. Looking into it a bit more it looks like I would need CE marking and that could well prove tricky and costly. I was wondering if anyone has a clue on liabilities if you sell plans for a product that if used carelessly could be dangerous?

I would have thought a very large and obvious disclaimer stating it worked for you but as you have no control over materials or building practices it is at buyers own risk would be sufficient.

Also a statement of intellectual ownership rights to stop any one else just copying it then selling it on for their own profit.
Not that you can stop them, but it might deter a few of the chancers.
