A bit long and the voiceover is a typical 1940s BBC type. However, it shows that what Rolls Royce did was amazing. Oh, and at about 1m 40s in, you can see the model shop where all the scale models were made to check for feasibility.

Thanks for posting Student. Very interesting old film - as you say, very "BBC-ish" or perhaps, from slightly later on "Pathe Pictorial" (if I remember the name correctly, although they would NOT have gone to the level of technical detail shown here).
