Wet rot

Hi

Anybody aware of a product called (or sounding like) 'raspberry' which allegedly pulls out the damp black mould from wet rotted wood?

Apparently it's an old and venerated product.

Never heard of it myself for wet rot treatment, I was always taught to cut out the bad wood and replace after treating the spores, and not forgetting to to address the original wet rot cause.

I would add cut out 3' of wood beyond the end of the wet rot as a safety precaution.

Never heard of any effective treatment. Ronseal do a wood hardener but it is Nye on useless
