Wadkin PK

Hi,
I am new to this forum and was wondering if anyone knows if all Wadkin PKs had serial numbers and brass tags, as there is one around that appears to be short of the usual tag. Maybe it's an early unit or maybe it's been removed.
Any info would be greatly received

Can only tell you that both my table saw (ags10) and spindle moulder (Ben10) both have serial numbers beginning with the year it was made.

Sorry - I can't be any more help, but I know a man who can. There is a fella on the forum here who is a bit of a whizz with Wadkins (a bit?). In fact I think there are a few folk here who have done extensive refurbs on old Wadkins, making them, IMO, better than original. A search through the threads here will yield some results there, but may not help with your original question. Sorry.

Hi Ralph and welcome, all pk's have a tag. The early ones had a tin tag like this

and then later they went to this type which is cast brass


If its a cast tag then the first two numbers on the test number denote the year of manufacture.
