Pulled from a skip.
It is complete, but it does not move. Nothing moved, even the bugs were dead.

This is the crud, it is a bit soft now, after drowning it in de greaser(Gunk)


Do not force the parts, it will make the repair a lot harder. As parts will break.
The parts will be hard to locate.

Striped, cleaned and a bit of lubrication.

The paint was long gone, so it was finished with a good bee's wax. the finish was very pleasing.

Looks like an old Singer, not many are worth money but they are beautiful things, if it isa Singer and you can find a serial number you can go to their website and find out when it was made, there is a charity that takes them in and restores them to send out to poorer countries and donates to girls/women, teaches them to sew and repair clothing, they can then earn a living with the skills and machine they are given.

It is not a singer, it is a German import to the Uk and then copied.

I have a few Singers, the SN are a good way to date them and where they were made.
