I wish I was younger and fitter, being a yachtmaster, radio ham. sailor and wood butcher I recon I'd stand a chance of a place.

Don't you believe it! They want the most inept, fractious person they can find because that is what makes 'great' TV. A least in their eyes.
I have to confess I did rather fancy having a go on Hunted, though.

Maybe I should sign up..

I'll kill every f***** on board and set fire to the boat

I was thinking similar - I've been sailing since I was 12, although I'm not a Yachtmaster as my father is and have completed several land based survival courses.

I certainly have the time right now, could have been an interesting way to lose 4 stone I guess :)

That's an awful lot of time being sea-sick

I wonder what they need the joiner/carpenters for? Making the boat in the first place? And will they choose two joiners of opposing viewpoints so that they are guaranteed friction ...to make 'good' TV...which is generally all that they are interested in. I do know that the do a lot of psychological profiling to ensure 'tension'. And where can you go when you've had a strop? Put in a liferaft?

Oh boo. I thought this was going to be a 'The great British Joiner' type thing.

If people find pottery interestring, I'm sure it would get a crap ton of interest.

You have one guaranteed viewer here. About time we injected some reality into these damn 'faux reality' shows.
