No Pete, I haven't heard of these guys before and a look at the site they are a very professional bunch. Possibly a bit arty for me but there is some lovely work on there. I will be looking more closely and ta for the link..

The reason that I was asking about that area is that an old forum friend up there, about 500k up here, asked me if I was interested in some serious pear wood that's about to be cut. We are talking 18" diameter trunks, branches and even the root balls. I am trying to see if there are any guys up in that area who are interested??

If only it was a LOT closer I would jump at the chance, but a 9 hour round trip for wood is too much for this awd sod!!

Anyone interested just write your details lightly in pencil on 100€ notes and send to me

I'll check my stash under the mattress but don't hold your breath LOL. 18" pear wood is not something that you see every day. Pity it's so far away

Pete

I'm around eight/nine hours round trip too, but sadly have neither the means to transport nor store…

I'm Bob, returning to woodturning after a brief session at school in the '60s. Live in the north of Lot-et-Garonne 47, should there be any fellow turners within a reasonable distance please let me know.
