Today I am the proud owner of a new router - an early bithday prize from SWMBO.

B&Q 15% off - comes out at £210.00ish.

Lovely and tight, easily adjusted and needs little or no TLC - NO!!!, the router, but it shows you're thinking

One question, which I know Ray (Argee) will answer - how can I fit guide bushes?.

I assume an alternative base is required.

I think Fi got good value - you tell me.

You need the TGA001 Guide Bush Kit, Les. You can see one here

It consists of a full-size metal baseplate that fits underneath the black plastic base. The guide bushes then fit into this carrier. The carrier also accepts Porter Cable-type bushes and the Leigh Variable Guide bush system for use with Isoloc (TM) templates.

Thanks for the replies.

PaulO - Won't tell Fi about the direct deal, she may be annoyed and as it was a surprise I can't really complain about the price gap - BUT! had I known before and knew what she was up to I could have steered her. Let's not forget - not all SWMBO's are this good. NUFF said!
