Trend T4 router

Today's Gumtree bargain, a non working, as new T4 router for a tenner. Took it home, soldered back on the capacitor on the speed control board and it works!!!

How are your finding the T4? I was considering one a while ago, as it seemed a good price for a decent brand. But all the reviews I saw were fairly poor. Went for a cheapy MacAllister in the end.

I suppose for this money you can't go much wrong.

The reviews were probably right if first impressions are anything to go by. It seems well made, electronics aside, and although I only had a quick play with it last night, it works well enough but it doesn't feel any better than the cheap ones I've used in the past.

You're quite right though, for that money it was worth a punt. I'll hang on to it for a while and see if it grows on me and if not then I'll e-bay it.
