Trend Airshield ear protectors

I have a Tend Airshield Pro which I've used on and off for over a year, today the ear defenders kept popping off whenever I adjusted them which became very annoying. Has anyone had this happen to them, the clip on the ear defenders which click into the headpiece look quite weak, I could glue them in but then I'd be stuck with them forever.
