I have just brought an old Qualcast Concorde electric lawnmower and it has some rust on it but not to bad.
I am thinking of stripping it down and getting rid of the rust and re painting it.
How would you tackle this projects?
Would you use a rust killer that you can use on cars or sand it down then paint?

Hi

If you have a container large enough I'd use electrolysis, if I was doing a full job I'd paint strip first and then refinish after electrolysis.

Search electrolysis on here all the info is already posted.

electrolysis is very good but you can't beat an angle grinder with a cup brush for speed.

An angel grinder I have and a wire brush so will try this first.
I gave it a go on the front playing field and it dose cut, not bad for £4.99.
