tool chest

i want to make a tool chest. And if anybody could help me with the sizes I would be very grateful

Not much to go on :shock:

If you have to carry these to the job site just make sure they are not too big otherwise when full of tools, they will be too heavy to carry.

Say heavy, large stuff in the bottom and lift out segmented trays/totes for smaller items. Saws clipped into the lid.

Hi g861,
Some years ago, when I was starting out on my woodworking experience, I made a tool chest.

I had to buy the hand saw, which gave me the dimensions for the lid, and then I proportioned the sides from that.

If you want, I can measure the sizes tomorrow.
