The closure of the NotW is a panic reaction by Murdoch. He desperately wants to take-over BSkyB and fears that the knock-on effect from the NotW scandal will damage that....

..or, if you look at the fall in BSkyB's share price and put that together with the earlier post that the Sun on Sunday has been in the planning for a long time....

..means that Murdoch has been orchestrating the whole thing to drive down the share price so he gets a better deal.
