I'm starting a project to build some bookshelves. I'm using 1 1/4" X 1 1/4" square oak for both uprights and shelves (the uprights and shelves are simply interleaved - upright/shelf/upright/shelf etc. Americans call it "cat's cradle").
I've bought the oak PAR and, of course, the 4 corners of each piece (and there are a lot of pieces!) are razor sharp.
Question: How do you break those sharp edges?
Plane? Router? or just by sanding during the finishing process?
Any suggestions welcome
Thanks,
Steve
