I have just changed the blades in my thicknesser, (Axminster TH 410) I used a pair of setting gauges taking the setting off the old knives but now I am getting snipe on both ends of the timber? Does this mean the blades are too high or too low? :?

Plus maybe sharper Blades removing more material instead of blunt cutting not penetrating?

Thanks guys. Strangely it is now working fine again? I went in to the shop this morning intending to lower the blades a little but when I fed a piece of timber through it was fine with no snipe? I tried a few more pieces all with no snipe. All i can think is the timber that got the snipe were very thin pieces so maybe this is why? Anyway it is working fine again now. They were freshly sharpened blades by the way.
