I found a tip on Router Workshops this morning, I just thought I'd pass it on as it had many good reviews, for the final polish on any object, use printer paper flat but not on a machine, keep the surface of the paper clean by turning to a new side and you will get the finest finish ever.
Answered to an original query,"have used wet paper on urethane finish and it came up milky" the person followed the paper trail and had a gloss finish in no time.
