Thanks Dovetail for your very warm and open welcome. Have for years restored vintage tractors as a hobby and made and used successfully several competition ploughs.
Had a serious shoulder injury in February this year which stopped me working. Suppose at 70 I’ve done my share.
I can’t do nothing so got myself a wood lathe and set of wooden lathe tools. I used to do a lot of drawing so it would seem a natural progression for me to start wood carving. Set of carving chisels bought with the proceeds of Father’s Day.
