i need to make 4 identical shaped ends for a project

do i cut \ plane \ sand one of the profiles and then use with a bearing router follower to do the other 3
or do i use mdf \ plywood as template and do above for all 4
clamp together and finish all 4 as one ?

advantages ? disadvantages ?

Personally if you have spare mdf/ ply i would go that route. If you mess up then a new piece is cheaper than timber.

I agree with Carl, but whether you can clamp all four together and finish in one go would suggest these are pretty thin ? If so then yes.
