Can 'indoor' teak furniture be used permanently outside without extra treatment/finishing? Reason for asking is that our teak dining table doesn't fit in our new house's living room, but would be perfect for the terras (spelling) outside.

provided it's solid and not veneered, i see no reason why not. teak is used outside because is is inherantly very oily. still well worth looking after it and keeping it well oiled. the joints will be prone to more movement than inside, espescially if the table will be in direct sunlight.
