T-track, but which one?

I'm still toying with the idea of making a table saw.
For the fence etc I was looking at using t-track but I've found a few.
There's aluminium, plastic, plastic dovetail and a router bit to cut your own.

i can see each would have it's own positives and negatives, but wonder which you use and why?

Without doubt I would go for Ali T track, very easy to install, either rout a groove for a sug fit or screw it in place Onto a substrate and then butt 12mm material up to it if you don't have a router. It can also be cut easily to length with woodworking tools. It is also very resilient allowing for long user life.

It can vary in price quite a bit but I have been using the copper coloured UJK range from Axminster, very competitively priced.

Good luck which ever way you go.

Thanks, they are well priced on the axminster site.
I do have a router. Considering a table that incorperates router and saw. When I work out how to do it that is, im am new to this after all.

Take a look at combination woodworkers like the Robland range. Should give you some ideas

For the fence it might be an idea to consider aluminium builder profile such as this one and its' matching connector strip. There's even a guy selling lightweight L-section rip fence profile (and a second one) on eBay
