Suggestions for suppliers of birch plywood in Scotland / north of England?

It's been asked before but not for some time and I suspect the answer is there aren't any, though I hope to be corrected. I'm looking for retail suppliers where I can pick up a sheet or two at a time. Ashley Timber in South Shields are good but so far I've found nowhere north of them. By 'north of England' I mean Northumberland and Cumbria.
