Not sure if this is the right place but I had a message from Ed Oliver of Olivers Woodturning suppliers it reads


"Low life scum broke in to the unit over night and nicked ProEdge's, Sovereign box sets, Peter Child's Pyro units, Patriot chucks & jaw set and many other tools.
If anyone is offer this tooling cheap please don't buy it but let me know who they are.

This happened in the Maidstone area but you never know where they will pop up.

So be careful if you are offered new turning stuff cheap.


EDIT also "Don't buy Olivers Woodturning Gift Cards there been about 10k's worth stolen and they only get activated once we I sell them so they won't work!!!

I think e bay and Gumtree are the places to be watching. My neighbour had a push bike stolen recently and he "found" it on ebay within 2 weeks. Onlt reason he recognised it was because he had done something unique to the cables apparently. The police caught the blaggers happily

They are being watched as well Ed is not just a supplier which I use but a turning friend that is an active member of the club I belong to.
