Can anyone help with what kind of system I can buy to replace this guide on a band saw bandit?
not sure how much to spend and what is compatible?

What/why do you want to change it? I've the ball bearing version on my startrite 18-s-1 (similar vintage to your bandit) as I use it for metal and wood but most woodworkers seem to prefer the solid block type guide.
If your blocks are worn then making some new ones is easy enough.

What's wrong with the guides...if badly scored, have you tried dressing them.
Guides are expensive, and most not interchangable.
Those ones look made to last.

Looks like it is mounted with the rod, and the thrust guide fits over it.
Nothing made today that I've seen is remotely similar, maybe Northfield in USA
Not much aftermarket bandsaw guides can you buy...
Bedford tool and co in UK make some for Elektra Beckum saws...
Axminster make another type of kit
As far as I've seen the only type of horizontally mounted guides is for Wadkin and Italian /Italian styled machines.
i.e ceramic blade guides for Laguna or GL 456 guides which mount much further back
behind the blade about 2 or 3", so not possible.
Not sure if there is much other types to chose from, maybe spares from RP is available?
Sorry can't help you much.

Tom

The only reason was i though the system looked tired and would be easy to replace. After the feedback on here I’m thinking maybe just replace the bearing at the back as it’s had a blade burn a track in it.
thanks for your help

Thanks for your reply. I’m now thinking to just replace the scores bearing at the back. Hopefully I can source one from one of the links in other replies
