Ive got one of the Excell site saws shown above and think its great, its not variable speed as they stated and to improve it I fitted a soft start module which took the visious kick out of it when starting. The one listed above doesnt show any fence either, and for me the fence on the excell is really good. Overall though its a cheap saw, noisey but accurate enough for my needs. Lots of people have gone over the track saws and Ive not tried a proper one, but for me I like working on the circular saw and I would think the DeWalt version would be a great little saw.

+1 for adding a soft-start to the excel site saw. I did it with mine (theres a thread on how to do it somewhere if you search) and it wasn't too difficult a modification and cost about £8 i think. Makes a huge difference the thing was horrible starting up before.
