I bought an Axminster Jet bobbin sander for cleaning up of templates and other detailed curved work . So far no complaints as I had nothing to compare it to .

I was really thinking more 'hobby' equiplment, say up to £150 ish. The Jet ones are double that. Also wanted smallish, due to space available.

I have the Scheppach one ad it is quite good, I don't use it a lot but when I need one its great cost me £130. I'm sure Rutlands were doing an identical with one same spec for <£100, because I bought my assorted grit bobbins from them.

I seem to recall Triton doing one too. Presumably also the same machine at a similar price.

Look out for the Rutlands one too - same as the Draper/Triton/etc. machines but can be cheaper if there is an offer on. I bought one a little while back and haven't had any issues with it. The only thing to check is whether it works out to be better value to buy the version which includes some sanding rolls or to buy them separately (which is what I did).
