That's a rotten piece of turning :lol: , you certainly pick some challenging stock to play with, not the easiest wood to get a reasonable finish on anyway but spalting adds a whole extra dimension to the problems of trying to eradicate tool bruising and circumferential scratches.
 
Bravo! You certainly made something nice out of that lump, I agree with Chas too, challenging to get such a nice finish on such iffy timber!
