Some new pieces

A few new pieces, spalted Beech with scorched and textured outsides, spalted Ash and African blackwood spinning tops.

really difficult when faced with the images alone - my reaction is that I like the first and last; but this is just a reaction!

I suspect that the other pieces have merit in the hand

I know what you mean, sometimes my photography skills don't help, I changed number 4 and gold leafed the bowl section, it is difficult without feeling the weight, finish or texture of the pieces.

I like all of them, lovely wood and I like the depth of the blackening you've achieved. The spinning tops are interesting too.
