Sloping front box.

I'm looking to make a sloping front box to house a couple of old style round panel meters. Can anyone advise me as to what sort of joints I might use?

through dovetails

Dovetails would be nice. A simpler option is to continue the sides forward of the inset sloping front, and fit the front into shallow housings.
