Skilled joiner/ cabinet maker near Calabasas, California

On another forum I belong to someone has posted about a forthcoming major renovation project in Calabasas, California, which involves not only the historic building, but then custom made furniture as well.

Does anyone here have any suggestions for how these people might set about finding someone suitably skilled, and, indeed, does anyone know anyone working in that area who might be worth approaching? I've asked for more details, but at the moment I don't know any more than what I've already said. In due course I should be able to link to some photos and so on.

This is a UK forum, so unlikely that you will get much response on this one. Much better to ask on lumberjocks or a US based forum I think.
