SICAR 210 combination machine

Well, I went to buy a Festool saw(https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/forums/view ... hp?t=34462)... and came home with the bill for a SICAR 210 combination machine!

For about the same price.


Anyone got any experience of using one? An instruction manual would be useful.

Haven't actually got the machine yet, picking it up next week once I've arranged a van or similar.

Yes, in as much as I've got the correct blade for the table saw... but I'll still be buying a Festool/Mafell at some point, perhaps if I get a Christmas bonus this year.

Does solve a lot of my other workshop problems though.

I made the decision between the SICAR and the Festool on the basis that the Festool will still be there in six months time, but a combination machine at that sort of price, locally and in three-phase* is not something that comes up every day.

* I need larger machines to be 3-phase, as I can only draw 15A per phase, so large single phase machines trip the supply on start-up.
