Shapes & Patterns Book or online recommendations?

Morning all,

I often need to create shapes like the attached and usually freestyle the shape on paper first to work out something that looks right.

It has got me thinking are there any books or online resources for these? Surely there are some patterns that have been worked out that fit with the various aesthetic ratios and laws. I’m thinking something I can print out or scribe up.

I’ve had a bit of a google but I’m not sure of the right words to describe what I’m after!

If it's historical mouldings, I think this is probably similar to Trevanion's first suggestion
