shallow drawer problem

Hey guys,

I have built a client 2 wardrobes, one wardrobe 600 deep and the other 300 deep. The drawers I made for the 600 (550) work fine (blum softclose undermount runners) but the shallower drawers (270) don't seem to work as well. Anyone else had this problem?

Is it the relationship between drawer width and depth? Whether undermount Blum or traditional all wooden drawer construction, once it's much wider than it is deep then it starts to become more prone to racking and sticking.

I think Blum do an optional lateral tie for just this situation.

Cheers for that. Yes the box is 270 deep. 900 wide and 280 high. Will try those attachments. Cheers
