About 20 years ago we had this unit built around a chimney breast by a gentleman who was well past retirement age.
My wife now wants a unit built on the other side of the room to match this. The width would be about 2.4m. The unit in the photo was built out of MR MDF.
There is a local firm that would either do a cutting list or build the units and I’ll be contacting them tomorrow.
I have had a closer look at the frame but not totally sure how he did this but I have a rough idea.
Can you guess please give me some guidance as to how the frame at the front might have been done especially the bit that sticks out beyond the doors? I would like to think I’m fine with recreating the worktop.
Thanks
