I bought a sealy pillar drill on Ebay a few weeks back and am get down to using it. Works well and has a table that can be tilted in both directions.
My problem is that there is bolt with a sheared head that looks like it might have been the method to set the table and there is also a 15/16" bolt holding the table to the collar. I don't want to buy a 15/16" socket unless it is the way of moving the table.
Any help or ideas please.

Hi Barry

I have a Sealey pillar drill and there is a large bolt (15/16 ?) which is used to tilt the table but it also holds the table to the pillar collar so if it was sheared the table would come off is your sheared bolt for another purpose

No the 15/16 nut is not sheared but a 6-8mm bolt below the nut.
I will get a 15/16 socket to see how it works.
Thanks for the info
