woke up this morning to find my new subaru impreza has been stolen only had it about a month. The fricken scumbags broke in through the back door which is now destroyed to get the car keys. We were all asleep up stairs.
since discovered they lifted our mobile phones and my wifes handbag so have had to cancel all our cards and it just keeps getting worse my car keys had the front door key as well. Oh and the car had just been valeted and i filled it up last night. Things can be replaced but my wife is a complete wreck it just makes me so angry. The car has a tracker fitted so maybe they will get caught, though they will probably just get community service. I give up

So sorry to hear your bad news.
Don't know what to say-hope your insurance sorts things out pronto.
Philly :D

Real sorry to hear about that. Get a locksmith, and make sure you claim for everything. Gotta receipt for that petrol? Make sure you claim that. All the little stuff in the car - thingys for wiping the windows, first aid box, warning triangle - it all adds up.

Tom,
that really is awful & my worst nightmare. The material things can be replaced but the aggravation involved not to mention the stress must take their toll.

Hope you get sorted quickly.

Andy

I empathize with you Tom.

If only the law would let us protect ourselves and our possessions. I for one would slap a few scumbags about. There's a few around here that could do with a bat round the back of the head. As you say, a couple of hours community service, or driving tuition with Eddie Jordon, Which would cost us hundreds of pounds.

Sorry, got carried away.

Hope everything turns out ok. And give the wife a hug.

Sorry to hear about this, Tom. Hope that you can get things sorted and that the shock for your wife wears off as soon as possible.
Best wishes
Stewart

Tom

Really sorry to hear about the break-ins and loss of the car.

I say bring back the birch and let the innocent party deliver the punishment.

Tombo - really sorry to hear about the loss of your motor, hope they catch the culprits and can return your Scooby asap - Rob

Commiserations, Tombo. I had mine nicked years ago, and it was old, but it's still devastating. I hope it all gets sorted soon.
Very best wishes.

Thats bad news. Really sorry to hear about it.

Is it possible that this:

the car had just been valeted

and

my new subaru impreza has been stolen

are related?

Sadly these things are nicked to order. The Ford Escort Cosworth had an estimated 3 day lfespan before being nicked - I assume that the Impreza is probably in the same category. Utterly unacceptable.

Hope its all resolved soon.

Cheers

Tim

So sorry to hear about the car and the break-in. I think the idea of birching is a good one. Followed by hanging would be even better!
I hope your wife feels a bit better about it all very soon.

SF

That's awful. Hope the car comes back OK and more importantly, your wife recovers quickly from the ordeal

That really sucks, I'm so sorry to hear what you and your missus have suffered. I hope your insurance resolves the situation rapidly and that the worthless scumbags responsible live short, painful lives at the mercy of a large tattooed man called 'Bubba'.

Tombo,
That's really rotten luck. I wish you well in dealing with all the hassle.

( I reckon we could build a pretty handy gibbet between us for the sort of folk that do this.)

Bamboo slivers under the fingernails still counts as woodworking, right?

Sorry to hear this, Tom. Like the others I wish you and your wife a speedy return to your normal life.

I didn't expected another opportunity for my "compulsory sterilisation for all criminals" rant, so soon. Is the world getting worse or am just hearing of more incidents?

best wishes
Phil

Sorry to hear it Tom . Ive had the van done 5 times and the workshop once but never the house . You must be really upset they have been in your home and its probably twice as bad for your wife :(

I caught the last one to try my van , the alarm woke me at around 1am and i chased him down the road . I spent the rest of the night in the cells and he got sent on his way :? Oh well it was worth it :D
