Our friends at screwfix have added £6 to their charges for those of us in offshore or remote areas.

I must find another supplier of their Turbo Ultra screws!

you've either got to pay for the guy in the rowboat

or they are like the airlines, expecting everybody to cover
the whole cost of the toll charges when a van goes over the bridge link.

miind you some areas of southern ireland get a thumping surcharge
from the carriers, i think they worry about their drivers getting
stuck in the pubs when they ask for directions

bit of a cheek though on screwfix. what about reiser,
or spax screws???

paul

As an alternative to the Turbo Ultra try the reiser R2 cutters but don't get them from SF.

I ordered 1000 50x4.0 from Isaac lord and it cost me just under £9.00, the same thing from SF would be £28.15 :!: Even if you have to pay the £7.50 del charge on small orders its still a better deal.
