Sanding sealer and wax finishing.
I haven't done any of this for some time, i have an elm table to finish that got left some time ago.
Advise please, preparation, what to get, where, and how to apply.
TIA Regards Rodders

Sand your elm table to 220 grit then apply Birchwood Casey's Tru-Oil. This will give you a superb, durable finish which will look good for years. Look on Youtube for advice on how to apply it. I use Tru-Oil on pretty much everything I make and it has not failed me yet. It is the best grain enhancing finish by far for tricky, blotch prone woods such as cherry. And no need to wax, Tru-Oil does it all.
