Salvia marquetry box

Just finished this box. Due to the slender shape not everything is fitting like I hoped. But still quite content whit the result as a novice marquetry hobbyist.

used veneers are: makasser ebony, padauk, purpleheart, sycamore, walnut burl. The grey (dyed??) and yellow did come in a surprise veneer pack so I do not know the species.

Lovely work, very pretty and would make a brilliant presentation box for the right gift.
