Very sad, Lord Flash in Blackadder is a good memory as is Ric in the Young ones. The University challenge one still has me in stitches...

Such a shame. Although I never took to The Young Ones, I've always liked Bottom and his characters in Blackadder.

It gave me a shock as he was the same age as me! He was certainly a very funny man and a good actor. Just goes to show you never know what's around the corner. I am sure he will have St Peter in stitches up there though.
